Characteristics of Boot-Images起動画面の特徴

Usable Boot-Image must have the exact size of 640x480 pixels and use a 16 color Palette. 起動画面は、640x480ピクセルで、16色パレットです。 You have to convert any other format into this specification. あなたは起動画面に合わせてフォーマットを変換しなければいけない。 Using a modern Imaging-Software you can reduce the color depth with an acceptable quality. 最近の画像処理ソフトは、画質を保ったまま色数を減らすことが出来ます。 To use the images with BootLogo they must be saved without compression as a BMP-File. 起動画面は、非圧縮のBMPで保存。 The resulting File-Size should be 153.718 Bytes. 保存したファイルサイズは、153.718バイトになります。 Please notice the following specifics for both Systems 注意！どちらのシステム(2000 or XP)でも上記の仕様を守ってください。

Boot-Images for Windows2000起動画面 Windows2000の場合

For Windows 2000 the Palette may be optimized for the colors contained in the Image. Windows2000の場合は、画像内のパレットは最適化した物です。 (簡単に言えば、パレットは自由に使えるという事...だと思う) During boot a horizontal stripe (Lines 416-425) of the Image ist constantly rotated and a Progress-Bar is shown at Position [274/437]-[436/444]. 起動水平ストライプ(416-425ライン)のイメージは、常に回転します。 そして、プログレスバーは[274/437]-[436/444]に表示されます。

2005/9/11追記 いつの間にか日本語対応していました。凄いです。
Windows XP デスクトップのカスタマイズ → ブートスクリーンを変えてみよう こちらの方が翻訳したみたいです。やりますね！
